Fish Type Hake
Hake fillet, scaled but with the skin still on
3 large white onions
Melt the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat and slowly fry the onions until soft. Remove the onions, keeping the juices in the pan. Gently flour the hake, and pan fry in the onion juices adding a little knob of butter. Serve the on hot plates with the onions and plenty of mash.
